identity crisis Participatory installation
Identity Crisis -This thought provoking event was made up by two new short performances by Tale Be Told Theatre, spoken word presented by Poetical Word. Art Jar created an installation themed around the exploration of self identity. The audience and actors were invited to contribute towards the installation by stamping their own thoughts and feelings in response to the performances and subject throughout the night. Stamped words and statements were all hung to create a visual of the crisis we all face with identity. As the installation grew it became a powerful backdrop for the performances as well as allowing voices to be heard and seen.

New Years Day Parade - London
Hands up for your Colours - London New Years Day Parade 2019 (Hounslow Entry) – Showcasing the vibrancy of Hounslow on the streets of London on New Years Day. We created all visual elements of the Hounslow Entry for the parade, including parade costumes, props and float decorations. This was a borough wide community project collaborating with local dance acts, Hounslow based volunteers and Hounslow’s Mayor to create a spectacular entry for the London New Years Day Parade, which won £5000 for the Hounslows’ Mayors charities.

Feltham Festival Brochure
Feltham Arts Summer 2019 Festival Brochure -This project involved the design and publication of the Feltham Arts Summer Programme Brochure. We worked with students from Rivers Academy, adapting images using photoshop, which were then transferred onto silk screens. We worked on colour schemes and screen printed the images in workshops with students. The artwork was exhibited, used as wall vinyls at The Hub at Feltham Arts and sent to professional printers to feature throughout the brochure. The brochure was distributed across the Hounslow borough. Final design created by Sarah Hubacher.
